“Although, I was born in United Kingdom, my parents were from Latvia and I feels that it is a part of who I am. I am very excited to bring the food that I grew up with to your dining table,” explained Martin Blunos, Chef Patron of Baltic Blunos.

 

“When thinking of Baltic, it represents the four-elements of nature which are air, water, earth and fire, and these are the elements  you can see throughout the restaurant and bar. 

 

Baltic cuisine is very earthy and fresh; the ingredients must be fresh and cooked at its best. I think it will be a very fascinating to introduce Baltic cuisine and to Thailand. I am extremely excited to introduce and showcase what Baltic cuisine is to every guest and I am certain that it will be a very interesting mix of cultures.”

Alek is a Latvian national whose heart and mind are led by his love and passion for gastronomy.

 

Alek’s extensive gastronomy experience ensures that he will be delivering truly mesmerizing Baltic Crossover gastronomic experience for guests at Baltic Blunos following

Martin Blunos’s philosophy.

Before moving to Bangkok, Thailand, Alek worked at one of Latvia’s best restaurant, Vincents restaurant, where he worked for

more than eleven years.

“Bangkok is an exciting city and food scene here is simply magnifed. I am thrilled to be part of Baltic Blunos and to introduce Baltic cuisine to our guests. I look forward to create a mesmerizing Baltic gastronomic experience to every guest,” explained Alek.
